Last year, we brought together project managers and change management professionals for a conversation that clearly struck a nerve. This year, we're going further.

PMI and ACMP are co-hosting a hands-on evening at Kvadrat's office in Stockholm — exploring one of the most pressing skill gaps in our field: the integration of change management into project delivery.

• Projects with excellent change management achieve 143% ROI, versus just 35% with poor or no change management (McKinsey)

• 88% of projects with excellent change management met or exceeded their objectives — compared to only 13% where it was poorly applied (Prosci, 10,800+ practitioners)

• Organizations using structured change management are 6–7x more likely to meet project objectives (Prosci)

The conclusion is consistent across every major study: technical delivery alone doesn't determine project success. People do.
