Change Management + Project Management = A Perfect Match

How do projects and change work together at their best? In which projects are change management essential for success? And when might it not be needed?
How can you raise awareness of the value of change management? And what should you, as a project manager, focus on when there isn’t a dedicated change manager in the project?

In this session, we’ll explore what change management is, then dive into the collaboration and touchpoints between project management and change management.

We are thrilled to welcome Eva Martins from the Association of Change Management Professionals (ACMP). With a background as an IT project manager throughout much of the 90s, Eva brings extensive experience from the project world. Since 2012, she has been a certified change manager, and has witnessed how long it has taken for change management to gain a solid foothold in Sweden.

The pandemic, digitalisation, and remote work have accelerated the understanding that we must strengthen our ability to manage change, both in professional and personal contexts. The ability to adapt, embrace new conditions, and to do so without exhausting people or productivity, is a key differentiator for organisations that will succeed in the future.
