AI in Project Management Case Study
It started with an interview and ended up in a global Chapter led research study.
This case study traces how PMI Sweden’s 2022 national survey grew into a global, Chapter-led research initiative on AI in project management. It highlights the governance structure: central project leadership coordinated the scope, methodology, analysis, and quality assurance, while participating PMI Chapters managed local recruitment through appointed Country Leads. The study describes how the collaboration was organized across countries, cultures, and time zones, and the challenges and lessons that emerged. It offers a retrospective look at one example of governance and collaboration among autonomous organizations working on an emerging topic.
