Sustaining Direction through Project Resilience

Emergent risks cannot be foreseen and mismanaging them can put projects or entire organizations in a vulnerable position. However, project teams can proactively build the ability to respond and prepare for disruptions caused by these risks. This ability is called project resilience.

In 2021, as the COVID-19 pandemic remains and the world becomes more prone to crisis, project resilience is a necessity for organizations to stay afloat. There are several key factors essential for an organization to develop project resilience, and research shows that organizations that practice them effectively are more likely to thrive in times of crisis. 

In this webinar, we will focus on the project resilience trends that stood out in Sweden over the last year. These are the results of a master's thesis project at Lund University, based on responses for the Swedish Project Review 2021. The webinar link will be provided the week of the event. We will address questions such as:

  • How has the COVID-19 pandemic affected project management in Sweden?

  • How prepared were Swedish organizations for virtual work?
