Successful Global Projects during Present Time

Does the current work setting in your projects remind you of any of the aspects related to the following connection:

“Virtual Setting - Global Projects - Remote Work - Collaboration - Cross Cultural Communication”?

To many of us, the current virtual work setting might mean learning about other cultures and how we can adapt to them to take part in global projects. The new exam outline for Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification also states the following as an enabler of engaging and supporting virtual teams:

“Examine virtual team member needs (e.g., environment, geography, culture, global, etc.)”

To help you get orientated with intercultural communication and collaboration, we are organizing a panel discussion followed by presentations by experts.

The session will help you get answers to the following:

1) What we should know about organizations taking part in global projects and their management structures as many projects are planned and executed virtually and remotely due to COVID-19 crisis.

2) In such a circumstance, what are the organizational and individual members’ cultures like among the organizations that are taking part in global projects?

3) What knowledge and skills the members of such organizations should develop to take part in global projects?

4) The challenges in the development of such knowledge and skills.
