Organizations everywhere are investing in AI, yet up to 80% of AI projects never deliver the expected value. Many get stuck as pilots, struggle with poor or unavailable data, or produce solutions that never make it into everyday use. The problem is rarely the technology itself. AI projects are data-driven, experimental and uncertain by nature, and they need a different way of planning, managing and measuring success than traditional projects.
In this session you'll learn the most common reasons AI initiatives fail and the warning signs to look out for. You'll also get an introduction to CPMAI, PMI's data-centric and iterative framework for leading AI projects, and see how it helps project managers ask the right questions, manage data and business risks, and guide AI initiatives from idea to real business value.
