The Art of Estimating Projects
One of the most challenging tasks for any project team is estimating the work required in terms of both effort and schedule. There are many ways to approach this, and in this seminar we will explore a range of estimation methods.
PMI has also published a Practice Standard for Project Estimating. We will cover this guide, along with other models and methods developed over time.
The seminar will be led by Lars Wendestam, who reviewed the first PMI guide on project estimating. He also spent many years as Commercial Director at Logica, where he addressed the challenges that arise when work-volume estimates meet reality.
