Risk management in projects and project-based organizations

After more than 15 years in different managerial roles, Henrik Szentes returned to academia part time as a PhD-student in 2010. In parallel, he founded STRABILITY AB, a management consultant company with focus on the same topics as the research: Organizing, collaboration, risk management and decision making in projects. Today, Henrik is adjunct professor at Lund University in risk management in project-based organizations, and as management consultant he provides services and support to management teams and steering committees, mainly in large and complex facility development and construction projects. Henrik has published two books and a book chapter, in which holistic views on leadership and decision making is applied to projects, organizations and society.

At this seminar, Henrik will elaborate on why and how project characteristics influence risk management efforts in practice.
