This year's Passion for Projects Congress by PMI Sweden Chapter will focus on The Future of Meetings, and bring together experts in the field to share their insights and experience. Considering the influx of meetings in our calendar and the growing amount of hours spent in meetings it is of high importance we make sure they are good ones. Bad meetings are said to be the most underestimated business problems of modern times and the meeting management and meeting culture can play a crucial role for the outcome of a project, not to mention the enormous investment it is when you multiply all the consultant hours involved. We also need to differentiate more clearly between meetings, digital collaboration and the need to meet and to choose the right format, place, agenda and time for the specific purpose and situation. We learned a lot on how to meet despite distance during the pandemic but the new normal is not all about working remote or not, it is about optimising collaboration in the new digital and to develop a sustainable meeting culture for everybody involved as well as environmentally. This congress will help you build awareness, competence, and knowledge in meeting culture, meeting management, and meeting technology. You'll have the opportunity to listen to thought leaders, scientists, futurists, meeting facilitators, digital strategists, and other experts in this field talk about the future of meetings and digital collaboration. PMI Sweden West Branch – Networking Kick-off 2023, hybrid event followed by AW

Welcome to Branch West Networking Kick-off for 2023 for everyone who is interested in project management!

Every year the West branch hosts six events for the active volunteers as an opportunity to collaborate, plan and share knowledge. Two of the events are open for non-volunteers and for non-members within PMI. Warmly welcome to this year’s first network event no matter if you are just curious about PMI or an active volunteer. This time we meet and mingle in the facilities of Knowit in Gothenburg and the agenda starts at 17:45 (which is also the start time for people joining online). At 18:45 the hybrid meeting will go over to a non-digital event only and move to a more proper facility for some snacks and drinks. To make the logistics a bit easier, please make sure to be in the entrance on the first floor sharp at 17:30 to secure a smooth pickup. Looking forward to seeing you all there and if not possible, hope that you will join online. Mini-LIM 2023

The target for this years Mini institute leadership meeting, for all volunteers in Sweden, is collaboration in teams, and foremost inspiration from an other volunteer organization way outside of the PMI realm!

During the evening, there is always some kind of activity. For example, it can be a workshop or an inspiring lecture with the aim of contributing to the volunteer's development in his/her role in our organization, but also in her/his regular professional role. Information is offered about what is going on in our Swedish organization, but also PMI globally. The evening is a good opportunity to get to know other volunteers in our Chapter, and to get inspiration for activities that can be carried out locally. The event and name comes from the Global Leadership Institute Meeting, PMI's global event for strategy and networking.
