2009-08-27
Welcome to a PMI leadership seminar on Scrum implemented into large enterprises. At PMI we have acknowledged agile methods in project management with several seminars the last eighteen months. Now it is time for a case study, where someone has implemented scrum in large enterprises.
We bring in Petri Haapio from Reaktor Innovations, Helsinki, Finland, http://www.ri.fi/en, an IT consultancy company excelling in demanding software development and Agile enablement. Reaktor Innovations is a recognized pioneer of the Finnish Agile scene. Petri is a skilled software professional, having broad experience in product development from various companies and cultures.
As an Agile Coach Petri has trained teams and organizations on different Agile methods, coached organizations on how to do the transformation to Agile, and given hands on support to teams in using different Agile practices. Petri has lead Lean and Agile transformation in some of the world's largest organizations. Petri has coached software development teams, program and product management and leadership teams, and frequently speaks at different companies and international conferences on agile methods.
What we will find out is the true story on how large enterprises as Nokia Networks implemented Scrum and Agile methods into their R&D and product development organizations. What were the results, did Nokia become more competitive due to these methods. Or did they only become more effective. Who benefited from the method change, who suffered, where the toughest resistance to change was? We will discover on the key steps on how Scrum was implemented in a structured manner successfully.
PMI Sweden Chapter organizes this event with Dataföreningen Syd as a partner and SEMCON Project Management as partner and sponsor. SEMCON makes it possible for us to hold this seminar free of charge for which we are very thankful.
Registration as usual under Kalendarium.
