Using prototypes to sell, evaluate and specify
2012-01-23
Hampus Jakobsson founded TAT in 2002 with five friends and grew it to 180 people in five countries and customers like Samsung, Motorola, Sony Ericsson, Nokia, Google, Vodafone, Orange, Spotify, General Motors. TAT's sales process was very driven by prototyping and visual communication. Hampus also started TAT's innovation arm in 2007 which used prototyping for innovation management. TAT was acquired by Research in Motion in 2010.
Design are thoughts made visual, and design and prototyping are essential for communication between customers and contractors as well as within teams. TAT created a framework of three types of prototyping - experience prototyping, feasibility, and market evaluation. Hampus will tell you how TAT's process can help you in improving your customer satisfaction as well as lessening the burden on your teams or how you can create new product offerings and ideas and bring them to market faster.
This seminar is presented at PMI Sweden Congress, Passion for Projects, March 12-13, Malmö Sweden.
